Yvette and Santiago started out exactly where a lot of our viewers do, watching our tours from home and wondering if any of this could actually be real for them.
They came across a property we featured in Santo Stefano di Camastra, and something about it just clicked. They didn’t wait around, they didn’t overthink it for months. Once they saw how beautiful the house was, they made an offer right away, before ever setting foot in Sicily.
That kind of leap takes trust. Our job from that point was to make sure it was well placed, guiding them through the offer, the paperwork, and every step toward closing while they were still an ocean away.
What made it special for us was watching the story come full circle. They finally made the trip to Italy, walked through the door of the house they had only seen on a screen, and it matched the picture in their heads.
We wanted to say thank you to Carlo and Jeia for helping us find our home in Italy. We originally saw the property on their channel Move to Italy Now, and once we saw how beautiful it was, we made an offer right away. Carlo and Jeia have made the process so smooth and so wonderful. We really haven’t had to worry about much. It was a pleasure meeting them in person, they are genuinely the people that are on TV, they’re not fake, they’re real. We fell in love with our house on TV and when we saw it in person we saw the vision that they gave us and we added our own little vision. And now we finally did our closing and everything went smoothly and seamless.
Hearing them say we’re not fake, that we’re the same people in person as we are on camera, meant a lot. That’s really the whole point of what we do, showing real homes and being honest about the process so people can trust what they’re seeing.
Yvette and Santiago have since closed on their home in Santo Stefano di Camastra and are now deep in renovation planning, adding their own touches to the vision we first showed them.
They’re even starting their own YouTube channel to document the journey from here, which feels like the best kind of outcome. What began as them watching our videos has turned into them living their own Italian story, and soon sharing it themselves.
